The Life Insurance Association Singapore (LIA) is the not-for-profit trade association of life insurance product providers and life reinsurance providers based in Singapore and is registered with the Registry of Societies.

Our total membership of 33 comprises 25 direct life insurers and 8 life reinsurers.

Our roles include:

1. Representing the life insurance industry
   We voice the interests of members, and address industry issues through engagement with stakeholders - regulators, other industries, consumers.
   
   
2. Upholding the professionalism and integrity of members
   We work with members to develop and implement industry guidelines and codes of practice.
   
   
3. Promoting collaboration
   We build consensus among members and coordinate industry-wide projects for mutual benefit.
   We foster a spirit of collaboration and mutual respect with government and business leaders.
   
   
4. Promoting consumer literacy
   We help consumers to appreciate and understand life insurance.
